More than one hundred homeschooled children like yours, taught by homeschooling mamas like you, worked together for the last two weeks to help audiences in Cookeville, Tennessee, be Touched by the King. The first to be touched were the guests at a wedding in Cana in Galilee.

“Od yishama!
It will yet be heard in the cities of Judea
Od yishama!
And in the parts of Jerusalem . . .

“The sound of joy and the sound of gladness,
The voice of the bride and groom!”

“Sir, there isn’t any more wine.”

“What do you mean . . . That’s preposterous. Haven’t you served at a wedding before? . . . How could you have run out before the seven days are up?”

“I couldn’t help but overhear your conversation. Do you see that man standing there near the door? Whatever He says to you, do it.”

The bride, bride’s attendants, and female guests dance an Israeli dance while all the guests sing the traditional Hebrew song, “Od Yishama.”

While the dance continues, the servants bring water in to fill up the water jars at stage right.

One of the servants takes the water which has now been turned to wine to the headwaiter who is astonished: “I’ve never tasted better!”

“Usually a man serves the good wine first, and when the people have drunk freely, then he serves the wine that’s not so good; but you have kept the good wine until now.”

The servant tells Mary, “Thank you for saving the wedding.”

Mary replies, “It was my pleasure, but it was my Son who saved it. And He will save much more than a wedding. You watch.”

This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee,
and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.
John 2:11

Mary had watched her baby, born in a stable, grow up to be a Man, the Son of Man and the Son of God. Now she will see what He does as that Man. The love between mother and Son will remain strong always and she will remain committed to Him all her life.

You will do that with your sons and daughters, too.
