A Welcoming and Listening Ear
“Welcome!” is much more than a word on a doormat or pretty lettering on a piece of home decor. We love for people to welcome us into their hearts and lives. We also love for people really to listen to us.
How blessed are the children who have this kind of welcome from their parents from the very day they are born—better yet, from the very day they are even thought about.
God feels that way about His children. He welcomes us and He never gets tired of hearing from us. He is the perfect example of how to be someone who exudes welcome and who has a welcoming, listening ear.
God does not just feel that way about us. He actually encourages us to pour out our hearts to Him. What a welcome invitation that is.
Trust in Him at all times, you people;
Pour out your hearts before Him;
God is a refuge for us.
