Fleeting Moments 2
Yippee. It snowed again! We plan to be away from home all day today, but today is the first time our car has moved since Monday afternoon. Ah-h-h-h, that’s been nice.
God painted beautiful pictures outside our windows all day on Tuesday.
The car didn’t move, but I did go out into the bitter cold on Tuesday because two of our grandchildren — whose parents’ four-wheel-drive vehicle has been moving — asked me to come outside and play. I love to be out in the snow, so the combination of two grandchildren and snow was an opportunity not to be missed. Our granddaughter had just popped up from the frigid ground when I snapped this picture of her snow angel.
When we couldn’t take the cold any longer, we came back inside, pulling off coats and hats and gloves and boots. I had just made my way into the living room when Ray said, “I’m going to the mailbox.”
“Wait for me,” I said, before bundling back up in my whole snowy get-up to go outside again. I didn’t want to miss the fleeting moment of a walk in the snow with my Honey.
The fleeting moments we talked about on Monday are not just the ones with our kids.

Oh, Charlene. I pray that I will have your energy and enthusiasm when our grandchildren come along someday. And those gloves! Those are the cutest gloves I have ever seen!
I pray you have energy and enthusiasm, too, Betsy. It’s so fun. I’m glad you like the gloves. I have had them for years. I don’t even remember where they came from. They are thick and warm!
