From the Breath of God
He casts forth His ice as fragments;
Who can stand before His cold?
Psalm 147:17
“From whose womb has come the ice?
And the frost of heaven, who has given it birth?
Job 38:29
“From the breath of God ice is made,
And the expanse of the waters is frozen.
Job 37:10
Those intricate creatures with their beautiful eyes and shining hair and silly faces and challenging quirks, otherwise known as your children, were also formed by the mighty breath of the God of Heaven. Remind them often.
Then the Lord God
formed man of dust from the ground,
and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living being.
