Happy Labor Day, 2020

Every day is a day to be grateful. Today is an especially good day to be grateful for work — the work others do to benefit us and the work God gives us to do, for example:

Loved ones to serve.

Agricultural workers who grow our food.

Business owners who provide jobs.

Officials who do their jobs conscientiously.

Responders who come when we call.

Every day is a day to be grateful, most of all, for the work that God does on our behalf.

But as for me, the nearness of God is my good;
I have made the Lord God my refuge,
That I may tell of all Your works.
Psalm 73:28

For You, O Lord, have made me glad
by what You have done,
I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.
How great are Your works, O Lord!
Your thoughts are very deep.
Psalm 92:4-5
