Homeschooling Mama, God Believes in You
As you prepare for this coming school year, please remember how blessed your children are to have you as their mama. You are part of the Master Plan of the Creator of the Universe.
But our God is in the heavens;
He does whatever He pleases.
Psalm 115:3
One of those things He was pleased to do was to put your children in your care. He could have chosen any other woman from another time or place.
. . . and He made from one man every nation of mankind
to live on all the face of the earth,
having determined their appointed times
and the boundaries of their habitation . . .Â
Acts 17:26
He didn’t choose one of those other women from another time or place. He chose you.
Think about how much you love your children. Remember that God loves them vastly more than you do.
For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish,
but have eternal life.
John 3:16
God did not stop at simply choosing you for this crucial role in the life of your child. He also equips you to do it well. If you get bogged down this year, if you start doubting whether you can really do this, if you start beating up on yourself, please stop and be grateful for what God did when He made you your children’s mama and remember:
So then, my beloved,
just as you have always obeyed,
not as in my presence only,
but now much more in my absence,
work out your salvation with fear and trembling;
for it is God who is at work in you,
both to will and to work for His good pleasure.
Philippians 2:12-13
