In on the Secret
A young man I know who is a homeschool graduate let me in on a sweet secret the other day. To cheer his mom after an exciting, but also uprooting, cross-country move, he and his three adult siblings went shopping together at Hobby Lobby last weekend. They pooled their resources and chose $100 worth of Christmas decorations they knew their mom would enjoy.
How I would have loved to watch them clandestinely. Oh, to have heard the conversations.
As evidence of their cross-country move, a lady in the store asked them, “Where are you from? I love to hear you talk.”
Then the siblings went home and hid their surprises away in anticipation of today. This morning they are surprising their mama with them.
Now you know their secret, too.
Her children rise up and bless her.
