Miss Katherine says . . .
On Wednesday I was finally able to return to my beloved ladies Bible class. Because I am the youngest member, it is a precious opportunity to gain wisdom from women with long years of experience living lives of faith in Jesus. I love what I learn from these friends.
The conversation turned to feelings of inadequacy. Now that’s a frequent topic of self-conversation in the minds of homeschooling mamas! Right?
The next time you are having one of those conversations with yourself, listen to the wisdom of 97-year-old Miss Katherine who said, “I always think . . .” and then quoted:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13 NKJV
Remember that you can, too.
And He has said to me,
“My grace is sufficient for you,
for power is perfected in weakness.”
Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses,
so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses,
in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ;
for when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
