Prayers Requested, Please
Ray and I would appreciate your prayers today.
Ray’s health improved after his recent pneumonia, but he began having symptoms again on February 11. He had consultations and appointments last week while his symptoms grew worse. Both our physician friend, whom Ray saw last week, and the specialist he referred Ray to agree that he should have tests at the hospital.
We are grateful that the tests were scheduled so quickly and that they are to take place today. Ray rested over the weekend. We also spent happy times with each other and with friends and family, in person, by phone, and online, while we processed this surprising new challenge. Please pray for safety in the tests which the specialist performing them described as low risk. Please also pray for protection if he decides that any additional procedures are necessary. Please pray, too, for Ray’s complete healing. I care deeply about each of you, am grateful for your prayers, and am thankful for the family members who are to wait with me at the hospital today.
Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything
by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God,
which surpasses all comprehension,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Father God, Thank you for the encouragement Charlene is to me through her blog. Thank you for the wonderful work she and her husband do. Please be with them today while Ray has tests done at the hospital. May the tests be successful in leading to any treatments that might be needed. Please heal Ray completely of his pneumonia. Comfort and strength this wonderful couple today and in the days ahead. In Jesus Name, Amen.
I’ll be praying for you both! We appreciate you and Ray and the wonderful Godly example you have set in so many areas, the Godly counsel you have given. May our good Lord grant you and your family peace and rest in the midst of all that you’re going through.

Prayers for healing……and for a hedge of protection for both through this valley….love you both…we to are in a valley with Jimmy’s test so far so good…more test this month…but with iron infusions he has more strength…thank you for Prayers you sent up for us… God is still in control…we both are so blessed to have Godley husbands.
