She needs to follow Jesus!

On a recent afternoon, I was reading Golden Books to some of our grandchildren. One of the children chose Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
When we got to the part about the wicked stepmother, the same three-year-old I told you about yesterday had one question after another. He was mystified. What was with this woman? Why was she so mean? He just couldn’t understand. Finally, he said, “She needs to follow Jesus!”
I think I’ll just stop right here and let his words be the message for today, his words and these encouraging words by Jesus Himself, words of promise and hope:
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying,
“I am the Light of the world;
he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness,
but will have the Light of life.”
John 8:12
This little “Golden Books” nook in your house is absolutely adorable, Charlene! I can imagine what a sweet spot it is for your grandchildren—and you—to enjoy!
