Teens and Their Friends
I look back on our homeschooling years with much joy. If God gave me the opportunity, I would love to do it all over again. I cherish our homeschooling memories. Ray and our children do, too. I am deeply grateful to God for those years.
Homeschooling families have time to become each other’s playmates. When I was a young girl, my family did many things together. However, as I grew older, I spent more and more time with my peers.
I remember thinking about this when our children were homeschooled teenagers. They spent wonderful time together.

As I watched them do that, I remember thinking back on my own high school days and grieving about the lost time with my brother.

I was grateful that our children were having such a different experience. Not only did our children spend time together, but we all spent a lot of time together. I cherish the memory of my children’s teen years. It was a blast.
You are at the stage in your life when You are making your own family memories. Many parents fear the types of people their children will have as friends. Isn’t it wonderful that homeschoolers can choose with whom their children socialize?
He who walks with wise men
will be wise . . .
