The Hair Dryer 1
While I was drying my hair last Saturday morning, the heat stopped suddenly. As I finished with cold air, I thought, “I’ll have to go to Dollar General and replace this today.” Well, you know how that goes. Did I remember to get a hair dryer? Not a chance.
On Sunday morning I started getting ready for church and remembered, “Oh, no! I don’t have a hair dryer!”I put gel in my hair and tried to blow it dry with cold air. It was slow going and the results were, well, not so great. Then suddenly the heat came back on! I was struck by how kind God was to make that happen on a busy Sunday morning. He encouraged my heart by reminding me that He cares for me, even in the little things He does every day. He cares for you, too.
I will give thanks to You,
O Lord my God,
with all my heart,
And will glorify Your name forever.
