Wise Words About History from Ray
I would like to share one more message related to Ray’s new edition of Exploring America, a message of hope from Lesson 150. This is what Ray says:

The eyes of faith will help us to keep the proper perspective on our world, our nation, and ourselves. “The righteous will live by his faith,” said the prophet (Habakkuk 2:4). God spoke these words to a prophet trying to understand history, current events, and the future. The words still apply to us as we try to understand the same issues: history, current events, and the future. The best and only accurate way to see the past, present, and future is through the eyes of faith.
The story of America is not finished. The lessons in this curriculum only bring you to today, and history continues to be made every day we live. You are participating in the story of this great and blessed nation. You are receiving the heritage of previous generations; and I pray you will pass on what is of value to the generations that will follow you, as God gives us days and years. Remember: this is America. May your life and the lives of those you touch be better by what you continue to learn through a lifetime of exploring America.
For the things which are seen are temporal,
but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18b
This is why you are homeschooling, precious mama. You are homeschooling not for the things which are seen which are temporal, but the things which are not seen which are eternal.
If we have hoped in Christ in this life only,
we are of all men most to be pitied.
1 Corinthians 15:19
