You Chose a Brave Path

In his Bible study last night, Ray told about Jesus calling James and John and Peter and Andrew. Jesus asked these two sets of brothers to leave fishing—the everyday life that they knew—and to follow Him to do something new. Their response was to lay down their fishing nets and go. How scary that must have been.

I thought of you when Ray told about those four fishermen last night. Though some of you were once homeschooled students yourself, most of you bravely walked away from what was familiar to do something new.

All of you have walked away from what is traditional in our culture. You chose a brave path, and I am proud of you.

Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who wait for the Lord.
Psalm 31:24
