Peace

In 1839 English artist David Roberts traveled and sketched in North Africa and the Middle East. He later created watercolor paintings from those sketches. The date he gave for this scene of the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem  is April 14, 1839. It appears to be a peaceful day.

Let’s join together to pray for peace in the Middle East today and for peace with all of our “one anothers.”

Salt is good;
but if the salt becomes unsalty,
with what will you make it salty again?
Have salt in yourselves,
and be at peace with one another.
Mark 9:50
