Freedom and the Start of School
I talked with three homeschooling parents yesterday. One family started school yesterday. One family’s first day is Wednesday. The other family plans to start back after Labor Day.
Freedom is one of the many benefits of homeschooling. Want your children to have more lazy days of summer? Go for it. Daddy have a business trip in two weeks? Pack up the kids and join him. Your mother having surgery the last week of August? Take the kids along and help your mom.
The purpose of education is to prepare children for life. Homeschooling is the best way I know to prepare kids for life without having to put life on hold while you do.
