I Like You

Recently one of our grandchildren laid a sweet head in my lap affectionately and said three little words.

Three little words. Only three syllables. Just eight letters.

“I like you.”

Those three little words gave me one of my happiest “Little” moments yet.

The knowledge that someone else thinks you are likable is rich nourishment for the human heart. To know you are loved without knowing you are liked is to live your days with a feeling of being not quite full or perhaps feeling very hungry indeed.

No child should wonder if he is liked. That message should be communicated to every child regularly and often. God made sure that His Son knew.

And a voice came out of the heavens:
“You are My beloved Son,
in You I am well-pleased.”

We have created two series of short videos (about 2 minutes each) to introduce From Adam to Us and to spread the world about Uncle Sam and You here near the beginning of this election year. I thought you might enjoy seeing them. Here are links to the second videos in both series.
