How do you like the question: “Are you ready for Christmas?” I admire all the folks who can answer “Yes” before Christmas Eve. I am not one of those folks. Maybe one year . . .
As a result of the time Ray and I have been enjoying a Merry Christmas season, I’m still working away on what I want to accomplish before this blessed weekend. I plan to continue sending you daily encouragement through the remainder of the Christmas and New Year season and next year, too, but today I am pausing to wish you a Merry Christmas from Notgrass History. Everyone on our team celebrates the birth of Jesus, and we also enjoy silly fun. Our team’s Christmas greeting for you today is of the silly fun variety.
First, I want to say thank you to everyone who voted in our “Gingerbread House” contest.

Workers were busy with keyboard and mouse.
The books were stacked on the shelves with care,
In hopes that the forklift soon would be there.
Children were running amidst the decor
That filled all the cubicles with beauty galore.
All these displays brought holiday cheer–
Nutcrackers, popcorn, and even reindeer.
But what surely made this bunch sing with glee?
History, history, history, history!
And I heard them exclaim with such joy and so blissfully,
“Merry Christmas from Notgrass History!”
Enjoy your children, Mamas. Enjoy your husband. Enjoy your parents. Enjoy your siblings. Get some rest.
