Small Moments Add Up to a Life
The eclipse and springtime, too! God is showing His majesty in glorious ways this week! Come, take a walk with me so you can see what I am seeing around our home.
I like to see the big things that God creates . . .
A field of wildflowers, . . .
A river landscape, . . .
A reflection of trees in the river, . . .
A patch of wild violets under a tree.
I love to see closeups of the tiny things that make up those big things.
Dangling maple seeds, . . .
A pansy, a lone dogwood blossom, lantana, and lilies of the valley hiding amidst their big leaves, . . .
Tiny wildflower blossoms.
God creates many little things to make something big and wonderful. You do that, too, when you teach your children day by day. Each of those little things you do matters in the great big task you have undertaken.
As we train our children, we must teach them that the small things they do matter and the big things they do matter. Each of our lives is made up of small moments. Over time all those small moments add up to a life.
He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much;
and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.
