Our packed Suburban headed southwest from Pierre, South Dakota, stopping by Wall Drug for fun and ice cream before spending our last hours of daylight viewing wonders of God’s creation in Badlands National Park — layers of rock , bighorn sheep, giant buffalo, a prairie dog town, and a beautiful sunset.

 Be to me a rock of habitation
to which I may continually come;
