Strong and Contented. That’s you!
I saw a verse from 2 Corinthians the other day and tucked it away in my idea file as one I might share with you sometime. When I looked at it last night, I thought of it in a new way. It is tailor made for those mamas who have 1) chosen to homeschool as one way they honor Jesus and 2) are facing tough issues.
- When you feel a weakness in a subject . . .
- When someone has insulted you because of how you are doing something . . .
- When you feel distress over some homeschooling issue . . .
- When someone is being just plain mean and you feel persecuted because you have made the educational choice you have made . . .
- When this whole idea of homeschooling feels just too difficult . . .
. . . remember this verse from 2 Corinthians:
Therefore I am well content with weaknesses,
with insults, with distresses, with persecutions,
with difficulties, for Christ’s sake;
for when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:10
