Thank You, Mama!

You are a homeschool heroine! Last year I published this list of things you do that I am thankful for. As I think of God’s many blessings today, I thank Him again for every:

Sink you clean,

Egg you crack,

Meal you cook,

Table you set,

Dish you wash,

Nose you wipe,

Book you read,

Shirt you fold,

Place you go,

Floor you sweep,

Juice you pour,

Sack you unpack,

Banana you peel,

Hug you give,

Back you pat,

Kiss you plant,

Truth you teach,

And heart you mold.

I am thankful that God sent His son to save you. I am thankful that God made you and your children in His very own image. I am thankful that you are spending your days being the mama your children need.

Thank You, God.

And thank you, Mama.

Last year we made a video illustrating these many tasks you do day after day. You can watch it here.

Thank you for every minute you have spent this week serving God and serving your family. You are a blessing.

The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart exults,
And with my song I shall thank Him.
Psalm 28:7

  1. Thank you so much Charlene. You are such a blessing and an encouragement. I am not really encouraged in my work as a mama. My husband encourages me a lot. You do as well. And so do my children.
    But so many others, extended family and even at church, I am treated like my work as a homeschooling mama is not good enough, and not enough for God and His kingdom.
    I look forward to posts every day because I know you speak the truth in an abundance of love. And I always always feel encouraged and built up after reading what you say. Thank you for loving and blessing homeschooling mamas!!
