Rejoicing and Weeping
Two weeks ago I shared a prayer request with you for a fellow Daily Encouragement reader who grew up in Canada. Her husband had been diagnosed with lung cancer this past December. Today she and her children are rejoicing in the hope of seeing their husband and father again in heaven while they are weeping because they miss him here.
This godly man had been in the hospital for a few days last week before getting to go home to his family on Friday. On Sunday evening they had no idea that he would go to his forever home suddenly and unexpectedly that very evening.
This homeschooling husband and father loved his wife and his children well. He loved his family in Canada. He loved his many devoted friends. He demonstrated a deep and living faith through every hardship of the last seven months, as did his loving and devoted wife. He continued living and loving, sharing moments and building memories until his last breath.
Please pray for his wife, his children, his mother, his sister, and everyone else who loved this godly man.
In My Father’s house are many dwelling places;
