Wishing You an Abundant Life Christmas

The home office crew of Notgrass History gathered in our living room last Thursday night for our annual Christmas party. To celebrate our newest curriculum, From Adam to Us, we sorta had an international feast, if you call Turkish Delight and Italian pretzels from our nearby World Foods and a variety of chocolates and cheeses from various countries purchased at Aldi, along with chicken fingers and typical American Christmas foods, including my traditional cheese ball and hot mulled punch an international feast.

We also had a lot of fun. Mary Evelyn took charge of entertainment. She led us in a Mad Lib that she made up about shipping out orders. We played Christmas carol charades, too. Mary Evelyn also gave us parts to sing in a new song — maybe it will be a big hit — called “On the First Day of Christmas Notgrass History Gave to Me.”

In the midst of the party, our five-year-old granddaughter suggested that we act out the nativity. Adults and children played various parts while we all sang “Away in a Manger.”

I have two Christmas greetings for you today.

Greeting 1

I pray that you will have a Christmas filled with abundant life from the Savior Who came so that we could have it.

“I am come that they might have life,
and that they might have it
more abundantly.”
John 10:10

Greeting 2

We had so much fun with our silly First Day of Christmas song that I suggested we make a video of it to share. Hope you like it. Be sure you watch to the very end because (naturally) I’m the cause of the blooper! Merry Christmas and thank you for reading. It means so very much to me to share my life with you. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
