Encouraged Mamas Encourage Their Children

As I mentioned last week, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library displays many quotes of Reagan’s hopeful encouragements. I mentioned the one which is seen above these bronze statues of the President and First Lady near the entrance:

Bronze Statues of President and Mrs. Reagan

It’s hard to read in the photo, but it says:

America’s best days are yet to come.
Our proudest moments are yet to be.
Our most glorious achievements are just ahead.

Hopeful encouragements nourish a nation. They nourish individuals, too. God kindly gives one hopeful encouragement after another in His word. The wise mama drinks those encouragements into her heart and soul and pours them into her children.

“For I know the plans that I have for you,”
declares the Lord,
“plans for welfare and not for calamity
to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11

Hopeful encouragements are the perfect antidote when homeschooling mamas worry about their children’s futures.

And my God will supply all your needs
according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

God has an encouragement for every mama’s every fear.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous runs into it and is safe.
Proverbs 18:10

And when mamas are so tired that they don’t know how they will go on, He promises:

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden,
and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
