Happy Mother’s Day, Mamas!

Today I would like to share with you engravings by award-winning engraver Henry Wolf. Wolf was born in 1852 in the Alsace region of France. He came to the United States at age 19 and worked here for the rest of his life. These are some of his engravings of mothers and children.

What you do every day is crucial because what you teach now will teach your children all their lives.

My son, comply with the commandment of your father,
And do not ignore the teaching of your mother;
Bind them continually on your heart;
Tie them around your neck.
When you walk, they will guide you;
When you sleep, they will watch over you;
And when you awake, they will talk to you.
For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light;
