Have you messed up any of those New Year’s Resolutions yet? Beating yourself up about it?
How do you feel when you child messes up? Even in your frustrations with your child, do you find grace and kindness in your heart?
Remember that your Heavenly Father loves you even more than you love your children.
Would you have compassion for this little girl if she belonged to you? God feels the same way about you.
Just as a father has compassion on his children,
So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.
For He Himself knows our frame;
He is mindful that we are but dust.
