Trust and Crossing Bridges

During a recent ladies Bible class, one of the women shared a prayer request. She said that she is soon to visit a specialist in Nashville about an artery issue. After class I expressed my concern and said something to the effect of, “I’m sure you’re worried.”

“I don’t worry. My mother was like that. She didn’t worry either,” she replied with her gentle smile. She went on to say that she takes things as they come. I love her “I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it” attitude.

Her words comforted me and taught me, so I thought I’d pass the blessing on to you.

Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known to God.
Philippians 4:6
